Santa Clara River Watershed Study

Scope/Activity Statement
MAPIX-M, Ventura County Watershed Protection District, and other local partners are performing a Flood Insurance Restudy of the Santa Clara River and selected tributaries within Ventura County, CA. FIS data will be developed in conjunction with other FEMA RIX IDIQ contractors studying the Santa Clara River in Los Angeles County. The data will be created in GIS format which will allow officials from communities in Ventura and Los Angeles counties to combine it with their local data sets for improved floodplain management. Once the study is completed, a revised DFIRMs for these panels will be created for any studied streams.
